Premium Driveway & Pathway Surfacing in Essex, Kent & the Southeast

Our Surfacing & Driveway Solutions

We offer a versatile range of materials to suit every architectural style and budget, ensuring a perfect match for your property.

Gravel Edging and Retaining Walls

A great driveway needs a great frame. We provide the structural elements that keep your surfacing secure and your garden beds in place.

• Decorative Edging: Using setts, bricks, or timber to create crisp boundaries between your driveway and lawn.

• Retaining Walls: Essential for sloped properties across Kent and Essex, ensuring your new driveway remains stable and level.

• Integrated Drainage: We ensure all edging works alongside SuDS-compliant drainage to prevent local flooding.

Accessibility Pathways

We believe everyone should have easy access to their home and garden. We design and install pathways specifically tailored for ease of movement.

• Smooth Surfacing: Using resin or non-slip concrete to provide a trip-free surface for wheelchairs and prams.

• Ramp Integration: Seamlessly blending slopes into your landscape design rather than using intrusive metal ramps.

• Wide Access Paths: Ensuring pathways are wide enough and level enough for safe, daily use.

Bespoke Surfacing: Resin, Block Paving, Concrete & Gravel

Choosing the right material is essential for both look and longevity. We help you navigate the best options for the Southeast climate:

• Resin-Bound Surfacing: A modern, "puddle-free" permeable solution available in a huge variety of stone colours.

• Block Paving: The gold standard for durability. We offer a range of patterns, from herringbone to vintage cobble styles.

• Gravel Driveways: A classic, cost-effective choice that provides excellent drainage and added security (thanks to the sound of crunching stone!).

• Pattern Imprinted Concrete: A heavy-duty, low-maintenance option that can mimic the look of stone or brick with a seamless finish.

Driveway & Surfacing FAQs

1. Is resin-bound better than resin-bonded?
Yes, we almost always recommend resin-bound. It is a "permeable" system where the stones are mixed with the resin before being laid, allowing water to drain through. Resin-bonded is just a thin layer of stone scattered over resin, which isn't as durable or eco-friendly.

2. How long does a new block-paved driveway take to install?
A standard two-car driveway in Essex or Kent typically takes 5 to 7 working days. This includes the excavation, laying the sub-base, sand-screeding, laying the blocks, and finishing with kiln-dried sand.

3. Do I need a skip on my driveway during the work?
Usually, yes. We manage all waste removal as part of the service. We ensure skips are placed carefully to avoid damage to the road or public footpaths, and we handle all the heavy lifting and site clearance.
